I could see it being used on pears and apples, but my grandmother had another kitchen tool that would not only slice the fruit but would core it at the same time. IT IS INDEED AN APPLE SPIRAL SLICER, I BELIEVE I STILL HAVE MY MOTHER’S.
Its a kitchen gadget. Primarily used to spiral potatoes. Great for a decorative cut….
