Two items that seemed to fit together but don’t, the finish on the inside id completely different, the top piece is just a cover for cheese or whatever you have on a plate, the bottom could have many uses
I think they go together, but why does the finish look different inside? Why the weird, long handle? Like a toilet plunger. I thought it was a serving bowl, but now I think it’s a time machine like what Jodie Foster occupied in “Contact.”

It’s the top to a Chase ice bucket , mismatched to a bottom from something else, there is also a similar cheese cover that came with a wood tray
